The President of the Republic reappointed Nathalie Homobono as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Institute for the Industrial Environment and Risks (Ineris) renewed last November for a period of 5 years.
Nathalie Homobono and Manoëlle Martin were respectively renewed as Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen of Ineris' Board of Directors by a decree of the President of the Republic of 27 December 2022. The appointments of Nathalie Homobono and Manoëlle Martin were proposed on November 30 by the Board of Directors of Ineris. The Board, renewed last November for a 5-year term, welcomes nine new members.

Among the new members, five were appointed by the Prime Minister: Virginie Chrestia-Cabanne (representative of the Ministry of Labour), Marc Moroni (representative of the Ministry of Transport), Gaëlle Dussin (France Chemistry), Antoine de Finance (National Confederation of Catholic Family Associations) and Françis Nativel (Association Eau et rivières de Bretagne).

At the beginning of November, Ineris employees had also appointed their eight representatives to the board: Florence D'Alexis, Fabien Fouillen, Lauriane Gréaud, Sylvain Nicolas, Marie Phillipe, Martine Ramel, Benoît Tribouilloy and Bénédicte Trouiller; Four of them have been on the board since last November.
The Institute thanks the members whose mandates have ended and who have accompanied the Institute during a dense period including the preparation of the 2021-2025 objectives and performance contract in a context strongly marked by the crisis related to the Covid-19 pandemic. Five of them had been appointed by the Prime Minister: Nicolas Bessot (representative of the Ministry of Labour), Claire Sallenave (representative of the Ministry of Transport), Philippe Prudhon (France Chemistry), Daniel Vigier (FNE) and Marianick Cavallini-Lambert (Rural Families Association). Four others were elected employee representatives: Isabelle Couture, Reine Landa, Thierry Delbaere and Didier Jamois.

Governance of the Institute
As a reminder, the Board of Directors of Ineris is composed of 7 representatives of the State, 8 personalities of the economic sector and qualified personalities and 8 representatives of INERIS staff. Ineris is headed by a Director General, Raymond Cointe, appointed by the President of the Republic in November 2013.

Nathalie Homobono is President of the "Safety and Risks" Section of the General Council for the Economy, Industry, Energy and Technology (CGE) and a member of the Board of Directors of the French National Research Agency (ANR) and of the Board of Directors of the National Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety (ANSES). Nathalie Homobono was a graduate of Mines ParisTech and a doctor in mathematics and computer science and was Director General of the Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Prevention (DGCCRF) between 2009 and 2018. Previously, she was Director of the Directorate of Regional Action, Quality and Industrial Safety from 2006 to 2008 and Regional Director of Industry, Research and Environment of Ile-de-France from 2002 to 2006.
Manoëlle Martin is vice-president of the Hauts-de-France regional council, in charge of education, high schools and guidance, vice-president in charge of equipment of the community of commune of the Aire Cantilienne and municipal councillor of Gouvieux.
