Lean 6 Sigma University is organizing the 1st competition for the best “lean 6 sigma” projects. This competition is open to anyone who has deployed a performance improvement project in a company using the DMAIC methodology. Each candidate must send before February 25, 2011 a summary document of his project. The awards ceremony will take place on Friday April 1, 2011 in the lounges of Lyon Saint Exupéry airport. Founded in 2003, the Lean 6 Sigma University aims to promote the exchange of performance improvement practices according to lean 6 sigma and the certification of skills such as Green Belt, Black Belt, lean coach from normative requirements international regulations in force. Remember that Lean Six Sigma is the application and association of two concepts: Lean and Six Sigma. Lean aims to eliminate tasks with no added value, losses and waste, and to simplify processes by increasing fluidity, flexibility and agility. Six Sigma aims to reduce the variability of processes in order to make them more reliable, to make them stable and predictable, to tend towards zero defects.
