To meet the expectations of the public authorities with regard to French industry and innovation, GL events, in its role as facilitator of these communities, has implemented an offensive strategy to bring together an unprecedented range of French industrial trade shows. A new step has been taken today with the presentation of a new name: GLOBAL INDUSTRIe. The 4 entities - Midest, Smart-Industrie, Industrie and Tolexpo - have joined forces to create an international event that brings together all stages of the industrial value chain. This unprecedented synergy can count on the support of national and regional public authorities, the Alliance pour l'industrie du futur (AIF), and socio-professional organizations as a whole.
GLOBAL INDUSTRIe brings together, in one place and at one time :
- The entire industrial ecosystem: start-ups, product/solution providers, equipment manufacturers, subcontractors, prime contractors, major groups, regions...
- the entire value chain: research & innovation, design, production, services, training ;
- all user industries: transport & mobility, energy, agrifood, infrastructure, consumer goods, chemicals, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, mechanics, defense/military, metallurgy, steel...
GLOBAL INDUSTRIe brings together the entire industry, all the exhibitors and all the corporations that support this initiative:
- 79 % of visitors see an interest in visiting a new show combining Midest, Smart-Industrie, Industrie and Tolexpo*.
- 96 % of visitors, directly involved in the industry of the future, say they will visit this new event in March 2018*.
- 91 % of exhibitors believe that this event will benefit their business*.
Demonstration, information and training
By showcasing French and international know-how and industrial excellence, GLOBAL INDUSTRIe aims to :
- prefigure the industry of the future and innovation on a European scale through its connected factory: a large 1,000 m² working demonstrator, combining the technologies and know-how presented at the 4 trade shows (76 % of visitors would like to find working equipment at a trade show*).
- provide information on the industry of the future and innovation, with TV programs featuring French and international business leaders, key accounts and experts sharing their experiences...
- promote the image of industry in France to the general public, and to young people in particular, to help them discover new trades and new skills, with its campus bringing together all the initiatives undertaken to promote employment, training and the attractiveness of industrial trades.
GLOBAL INDUSTRIe's range of products, events and forward-looking conference program will reflect the developments that are shaping tomorrow's industry today.
* Goudlink study for GL Events - September 2017, conducted among a representative sample of the 4 trade shows.
